Man Utd transfer deal for Bruno Fernandes ‘all confirmed’ with star heading to Manchester

Manchester United have beaten off competition from Tottenham to secure the signing of Bruno Fernandes with a deal ‘all confirmed’, it has been claimed.

Manchester United have been tracking the Sporting Lisbon star for months with Spurs also interested in the player.

But it’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who looks to have emerged victorious with Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira claiming a deal has been struck and he will be heading to Manchester after the Portugal Super Cup.

“All confirmed!” Schira tweeted.

“After Portugal Super Cup #BrunoFernandes will leave from #Sporting to #ManchesterUnited.

“For him is ready a contract by €6M plus bonuses a year. #transfers #MUFF #mutd.”

Sporting take on Benfica on Sunday evening in the Portugal Super Cup that now looks set to be his final game for the club.

Meanwhile, former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol and ESPN pundit Steve Nicol reckons the Portugal international is the exact type of player the Red Devils need.
